Fresh Start
As I hear the deafening sound of silence,
I recall the flashbacks of yesterday.
I realize the things I did,
The opportunities I've wasted.
Chances were there,
Break was near
But I didn't stand firm,
I didn't stand still.
Those things I regretted,
Why I never did.
Same things I shall regret
If I still never will.
Those times I shall never get back,
Times I shall never retrieve.
Thinkin' about what I must do
Is just to let it flow.
I'd rather move on
Than regret all my life
To see my beloved suffer
From a sentence of eternity
Proceed to the next chapter
Break the chain of the past
Make a new beginning
Get a fresh start.
